Welcome to my T.A.P.S. page!
I was certified to play TAPS (TAPS is a famous musical piece sounded by the U.S. Military during flag ceremonies and funerals) in 2004 when I was in High School my Freshman year. I have always wanted to be involved with the military but I didn't want to actually enlist. I heard that there was auditions in a neighboring city for Wisconsin Military Buglers. I thought that this was my chance to get involved and my parents agreed.
After my audition, I heard through the grapevine that I almost wasn't going to get certified. However, one of the judges on the panel was a retired military solder from my town and he fought to the bone to get me certified. Right there, I knew that this was one of my callings besides wanting to teach music. To this day, I still talk to him constantly and every time we talk to each other, he always tells me that I have to be the one to play T.A.P.S. at his funeral. This man is known as "Big Al" and is respected by everyone.
If you wish to contact me to play at a solders funeral please visit my Contact Page and you will see my information there.
